"I've had numerous requests to provide additional workshops on
identifying larval midges and water beetles.Thus I will be offering a larval midge (Chironomidae) identification
workshop 23-25 June 2008 at Wakulla Springs (northern Florida). This course
will emphasize Florida/Southeastern US taxa, but more can be covered
depending on participants.I will also offer a water beetle identification workshop 7-9 October

This facility is newly renovated. It has a beautiful new stone and stucco, 21,000 square feet atrium with new indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, game room, putting green and fitness center with new equipment.
We were able to secure a block of 50 rooms at the NC State Government Rate of $63.75/night. When reserving a room, be sure to mention the SWPBA meeting. The $63.75 rate is good Monday through Thursday nights that week.
